AloraMC

an honest update

hey, to anyone that is reading, I think it is important I post this. during the past year or so, the team and I have spoken about the grand return of AloraMC. when I first announced the grand return all that time ago, I genuinely believed I could balance everything and pull off the scale of the network I had envisioned.

the reality is, I couldn’t deliver on that promise.

AloraMC was never meant to be a rushed project botched together, I wanted it to thrive. bringing it to the standard I would want to see would require hundreds of hours of planning, designing, building and implementing.

with life, career priorities, and adult responsibilities taking over, I simply don’t have that bandwidth anymore. so, rather than compromising the vision, or dragging this out any further, or making more promises I can’t keep, I am officially putting AloraMC to rest.

to the builders, developers and staff who poured hours into reviving AloraMC: your effort was never wasted. every world, hub, config, and setup is still safe with me, so no hard work is lost.

if you contributed to the server, whether that have been through building or developing back-end stuff, and you want copies of your files, configs, or schematics for your own projects, let me know and I can get that sent over to you. you own what you created.

back to AloraMC, and what’s next:

the AloraMC brand itself is officially being retired. in the “big decision” survey I got people to answer back in 2024, some said that whilst AloraMC was beloved, it was time to move forward with a new perspective and create something new. maybe I should’ve listened to them then.

anyway, whilst I still may help friends on other projects down the line, my time as the owner and lead behind AloraMC is finished.

thank you to everyone who believed in the concept, stayed patient, and contributed their creativity along the way. I’m genuinely proud of what AloraMC was, but it’s time to close this chapter and move forward.

thank you everyone - alfazzy
